Let’s look at a few.

  1. Weight Loss. Yup, now we know we have your attention. Green tea speeds up your metabolism. The polyphenol works to boost levels of fat oxidation and the rate at which your body turns food into calories.

  8. Depression. Theanine is an amino acid naturally found in tea leaves. It apparently has a relaxing and tranquilizing effect on people. Happy feels all around. 
  9. Anti-viral and Anti-bacterial. Tea catechins are strong antibacterial and antiviral agents which make them effective for treating everything from influenza to cancer. Studies even show that green tea helps stop the spread of many diseases. 
  10. Skincare. Ladies, look alive. Green tea can also help with wrinkles and the signs of ageing, This is because of their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties in the tea. It’s Bikini Weather in Toronto these days and everyone is getting on the weight loss bandwagon. When we think about weight loss, images of measly salads and weird things made with quinoa are conjured in our minds. Poultry meat is king in the weight loss world, especially white meat. Chicken and turkey are lower in fat, but provide plenty of protein. Three ounces of chicken breast has 7 grams of fat and 25 grams of protein, while three ounces of turkey breast has 6 grams of fat and 24 grams of protein.
